Background
About Adil Rizvi
I lead the Investment Engineering & Analytics team within the Active Equities Portfolio Strategy group at CPP Investments. Our mandate spans investment data engineering, decision analytics, and the ownership and evolution of Active Equities core investment platforms—delivering scalable infrastructure, data solutions, and tools that empower investment professionals across the department. Over the course of my career at CPP Investments, I have built a diverse set of experiences across multiple domains: Portfolio Construction and Risk Management: Applied fundamental factor models and optimization processes to design and manage hedge portfolios that mitigated undesired systematic risks. Investment Operations: Led initiatives across P&L reporting, collateral management, and derivative settlements - ensuring operational excellence and control. I am a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder.
