As an IT professional currently entrusted with overseeing and supporting the IT infrastructure of ITSB (Institut Teknologi dan Sains Bandung), I manage and maintain core systems including campus-wide internet bandwidth, Wi-Fi networks, CCTV security, and cybersecurity initiatives. Beyond my formal responsibilities, I am committed to thinking beyond the scope of day-to-day operations — actively seeking innovative ways to enhance ITSB’s digital resilience. This includes exploring strategic collaborations, such as potential partnerships with leading cybersecurity firms to strengthen cybersecurity awareness and skill development among ITSB students. My approach blends hands-on technical oversight with a forward-thinking mindset, aiming to build a secure, scalable, and future-ready IT environment for academic excellence. My role as IT Business Partner (ITBP) is to serve as the strategic interface with assigned business units or functional area for the purpose of business technology strategy development, solution discovery, service management, risk management and relationship management. ITBP serves as the business relationship link between business units and IT at the executive level. ITBP provides highly valued strategic consulting level support and guidance through key IT initiatives. I partner with business leadership and other key stakeholders to define opportunities and identify / prioritize projects based on predefined criteria (e.g. return on investment, productivity, compliance). ITBP proactively serves as a “trusted advisor,” and the primary IT point of contact to business line executives and managers. I operate as the key business contact representing IT in promoting IT services and capabilities. ITBP provides support in delivering technology products that meet the needs of the business. ITBP focuses on strategic initiatives and planning activities for their business area. I strive to understand market challenges, including customer priorities and competitive issues. ITBPs are proactive and anticipatory in our thinking. We are, by nature, driven and provide significant value to business units. ITBPs facilitate the investment intake process and the high level planning and execution of business initiatives through the use of technology. We serve a lead role in enabling the business to achieve their objectives, ultimately through the effective use of today's technology.
