Background

About Adithya Ramachandran

As a Doctoral Student at FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg, I have been developing a Digital Twin for urban heat and water supply networks since October 2021. This project involves integrating multi-modal data from smart meters, SCADA, and GIS into a unified knowledge graph, which serves as a central knowledge base. I utilize Python for data processing, NetworkX for network analysis, and Neo4j for graph-based inference. Additionally, I have developed a web application using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for interactive visualization, enhancing infrastructure monitoring and decision-making. In parallel, I am also working as a Scientific Researcher at Diehl Metering, where I am involved in various projects related to data engineering and scientific research. My previous experience includes a student assistant role at BASF, where I enabled an integrative environment for the modeling of Fiber Reinforced Plastics (FRPs) employing Moldflow and in-house software. I have a Master's degree in Computational Engineering from the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from SRM Valliammai Engineering College. I am passionate about applying my skills in data modeling, communication, and statistical analysis to solve complex problems in the field of computational engineering.
