Focused on solving problems and making a difference. This prompted me to pursue a Ph.D in Cancer Biology. During my Ph.D. and postdoc, I developed expertise in in vivo immuno-oncology and studying the role of chronic inflammation [innate and adaptive immune cells] in accelerating cancer progression. I also have experience studying immunotherapy and adoptive T cell therapy for solid cancers (i.e. head and neck cancer [HNSCC] and hepatocellular cancer [HCC]. I have worked on multiple collaborations and in teams and have been able to work on projects focused on translational biology. I tested small molecules against molecular targets for inflammatory liver disease and developed in vivo models to mimic human disease conditions. I have acquired expertise in primary cell isolation and culture and in various immunology, cell biology and molecular biology techniques.I am a strategic partner, drug development executive, and people leader. As a dual master in Biochemistry and Public Administration, I'm dedicated to serving as both a key scientific leader and SME, as well as a strategic partner and people leader, focused on building and cultivating high-performing teams. I am an experienced Drug Development Leader with proven ability in setting and executing strategic roadmaps, interfacing with cross-functional departments, and supporting the progression of therapies from early discovery through in vivo efficacy models IND-enabling safety studies.
