Aditya Ankari, Ph.D. Scholar | Genomics & Inflammation Biology | Medicinal Plant Pharmacology | Bioinformatics & ONT Expert | AI in Life Sciences I hold a Ph.D. in Plant Sciences from the University of Hyderabad, where I explored the molecular mechanisms behind the anti-inflammatory and anti-obesity effects of medicinal plants with a focus on their cardioprotective potential and modulation of atherogenesis pathways. My expertise spans human cell culture, immunoassays (ELISA), gene expression studies, and biochemical profiling, aimed at bridging traditional phytomedicine with modern therapeutic science. Currently, I serve as a Senior Scientific Analyst at QTLomics Technologies, Bangalore, where I lead projects in plant genome informatics, with deep involvement in the design, automation, and interpretation of Oxford Nanopore sequencing workflows. My role includes high-resolution analysis using ONT, variant calling, transcriptomics, and leveraging AI-powered pipelines to decode complex biological datasets. Alongside my MSc in Botany (5th Merit, RTMNU) and qualifications in CSIR-NET JRF and MH-SET, I bring strong teaching experience and a growing record of peer-reviewed publications and scientific presentations. I’m passionate about integrating AI, genomics, and pharmacological research to accelerate innovation in health and agriculture, and equally driven by curiosity, creativity, and continuous learning.
