About Aditya Chinchure

As a graduate student at the Computer Vision Lab at The University of British Columbia, I work on developing novel methods and models for multimodal learning, at the intersection of Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing, and commonsense reasoning. I collaborate with Dr. Leonid Sigal and Dr. Renjie Liao, as well as other researchers and students, on various projects involving transformers, large language models, and multimodal datasets. I recently completed a part-time internship at Borealis AI, where I worked with Dr. Fred Tung on financial time-series representation learning using Transformers. Additionally, I have a BSc. Honours degree in Computer Science from UBC, and publications in the field of machine learning. I am passionate about advancing the frontiers of AI and solving real-world problems with innovative and impactful solutions.
