About Aditya Hosur

Senior Mechanical Engineer with a Master’s degree in Machine Design and over 7 years of experience in the automotive and locomotive industries. I have worked as a Design Engineer, CFD Engineer, and currently as a Project In-Charge in Japan. My experience covers the whole product process, from 3D design to solving production issues on the factory floor. My technical skills include designing locomotive cab structures, wiring harnesses, and Hybrid Battery Packs using NX and Teamcenter. I also run thermal and pressure drop CFD simulations in StarCCM+ to test these designs. To make sure parts are easy to manufacture, I create clear assembly drawings with GD & T, and follow ASME welding standards. When design updates or manufacturing fixes are needed, I am experienced in writing and managing Engineering Change Requests (ECRs). To communicate clearly with my team and clients in Japan, I hold a JLPT N4 certificate and am actively studying for the N3.
