About Aditya Pendyala

I’m a recent graduate with a B.S. in Data Science and Statistics from Michigan State University, now headed to Columbia University to pursue my M.S. in Data Science. As an international student and former Research Assistant under Prof. Chih-Li Sung, I’ve cultivated strong skills in machine learning, deep learning, and statistical modeling through both academic and applied research experiences. A machine learning enthusiast, I enjoy exploring different data science algorithms and techniques, particularly in areas involving automation, pattern recognition, and performance optimization. My experiences have required leadership, time management, and a deep commitment to community engagement. Outside of academics, I’m passionate about origami, cars, cooking—and I’m a former professional tennis player.
