Aditya Sesh, a Chartered Accountant by training, has been in fund services for more than 25 years with experience in organizations like Fortis, Curacao and PFPC Delaware. His experience ranges from on shore to offshore fund administration, almost all strategies and various instruments and has handled some of the biggest MBS in the world. His entrepreneurial campaign started with Basiz Fund Services, where he has created a new segment in investment accounting that caters to the requirements of fund administrators (Among the top ten). A first in India, he has with his team implemented path breaking strategies relating to deploying Six Sigma and PERT/CPM techniques for the first time in fund accounting industry itself, leading to a patented process. As a result today Basiz holds a 7% market share in financial reporting for global hedge funds. Basiz ranks in the top 25 in global fund administration, in assets servicing Private Equity, Venture Capital, Foundations, Family offices, Hedge Funds and PMS asset classes. Basiz today services assets in excess of $100 Bn globally. Today Basiz service lines includes the patented Basiz Master Draft, an unique contract life management software. At present Sesh focusses on assisting the government in policy framework and also employment generation in the North East section of the country. For Sesh, lecturing and training other professionals in upgrading skills is a personal passion.
