About Aditya Shah

Aditya Shah is an Associate at Orbit Financial Capital, with experience working on 10+ deals, with an aggregate deal size of over $2.5 Billion in total, in the Pharmaceutical, Healthcare, Consumer Durables Space etc. His role involves focusing on identifying strategic fits for his clients and enabling them to grow their business through the inorganic route by making acquisitions or by undertaking M&A, Private Equity Funding, Venture Capital Funding, or forming alliances that assist in improving technologies thus improving shareholder value- Coming from an equity research background, I joined an IB firm (OFC) to understand the nuances of alternative investments to have a rounded knowledge of different disciplines in finance. Having worked on 10+ deals and being a part of the deal process right from the very beginning till the execution of term sheet, I have a decent understanding of the I-Banking process. The best part of being a part of Pharma industry, is that your hard-work may result in changing the entire landscape of pharma industry aiding the community at large to benefit from it. However, I must confess that this has not reduced my love for capital markets and equity research in any manner and I look forward to any opportunities that helps me grow in this space. Lastly, I strongly believe that it’s the team that helps you if you want to cover longer distances and helps you grow as an individual. “We” is much powerful than “me” and that working together has completely helped me to build upon my thought processes and move the transaction forward.
