About Adlia Ebeid

My experience in academia and disease state management has driven me to pursue career choices related to preventive care through education and medication therapy management. More specifically my passion lies within diabetes management and medication optimization. Being board certified in diabetes management and residency trained in drug information, I am well equipped to develop projects and strategize methods to promote preventive care and enhance medication adherence. My ability to network with other experts and healthcare professionals with similar interests has led to my success and ability to positively impact my profession. Although, I have worked on many great projects with beneficial outcomes, my most memorable would have to be the implementation of a disease management clinic with prescriptive authority run by pharmacists and interns at a charity clinic. This experience highlighted for me the necessity of replicating such a program locally, nationally, and internationally. In addition to my education, experiences, and certifications, I believe it is essential to plan, persevere, then perform.
