About Adnan Baksh

With experience in project management, sales coordination, and social media marketing, as well as a major in Actuarial Science and double minors in Economics and Statistics from the University of Toronto, I am a well-rounded professional with a diverse skill set. As a Project Manager and Sales Coordinator at Advantus Management Ltd, I led a team of cross-functional resources, secured a special license from the Trinidadian government, implemented a new ERP & CRM system, conducted data analysis and entry, and established and managed distribution channels for COVID-19 testing kits, generating six-figure sales. I also have experience as a Sales Representative and Social Media Manager at Tenth Avenue Pharmacy, where I developed social media marketing strategies, maintained relationships with key accounts, and provided quality customer service to over 100 customers daily. Additionally, I am a co-founder and past senior peer mentor of Your Actuarial Buddy, where I established a mentorship program, hosted networking events and monthly seminars, and co-led a team of 20 mentors. I am proficient in Microsoft Suite and have intermediate-level skill in Python and R. I am pursuing the Microsoft Excel for Business Advanced Level certification.
