About Adolfo Fukuda

Software is hard"- Donald KnuthPassionate about Mathematics and computing, I've always been eager to learn. Back in the 1980s, I used to buy a magazine called Input, where I could see machines and codes on various platforms and languages. That's where my passion was born: Programming! At 15, I got my first computer, where I was able to program in Pascal and C, since the libraries for Clipper were available.“Success is not an accident. It is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice and most of all, love of what you are doing or learning to do.”― Pelé, Brazillian pro footballerAt 18, I enrolled in Computer Science at the Federal University of Uberlândia, where I was able to develop the passion I've always had. It was there that I met the great love of my life: The functional paradigm! Concise, direct, and powerful in many ways, this paradigm introduced elements like immutability, expressiveness, iconicity, and many other features that fascinated (and still fascinate) me."What do I want for the future?"My passions are: Computer Science, Math, Astronomy and Philosophy; I consider myself self-taught, and for that reason, I easily learn various topics on my own. So, I always want to contribute, both in terms of my own improvement and for those who interact with me. I also want to bring creative ways to solve problems.
