About Adomas Lukenskas

As a highly experienced engineer with 10 years of professional work experience, I have a proven track record of delivering complex projects within budget and on time. I started my career as a laser sales engineer, managing client requests and ensuring the timely delivery of products. After obtaining my MSc in nuclear engineering from Imperial College London, I worked on high heat flux components for fusion reactors at UKAEA, overseeing manufacturing trials and developing innovative manufacturing methods. I then was seconded as fusion expert to join the ITER nuclear fusion reactor project as a project officer, where I managed contracts and design delivery for neutron activation systems for test blanket modules, ensuring compliance with design and safety requirements. My role at ITER also involved supporting safety analyses and tritium transport modelling. Currently, I work as a lead engineer on the WCLL test program at UKAEA, supervising and coordinating the work of a team of designers, engineers. In this role, I write technical specifications, job cards, and also perform design work. I have also written and presented the overall technology development test program for the experimental machine called CHIMERA. I am confident that my extensive experience and technical expertise make me a valuable addition to any team, and I am excited about the prospect of contributing to innovative projects in the future.
