I am a result driven, self-motivated, and resourceful Geomatics Professional with a proven track record of minimizing the costs of a project and enhancing value for money, while still achieving the required standards and quality. Specialising in Land Surveying, GISc, Town and Regional Planning. I have considerable expertise in managing all stages of a project lifecycle, implementing cost effective control processes, budget management and contract administration, across the fields of engineering as well as cadastral surveying. My main objective is to integrate the spatial function of land surveying as well as the visualization and interactive steps of GISc into decision-making. Since we are a small firm operation for both my Land Surveying firm and my Town and Urban Planning firm, we tend to take part in every step of the process of land surveying and town planning. The reason why we are performing the GISc Geographic Information Science function is since this is becoming of greater importance in the field of land surveying in the visualization of spatial data and features for planning and analysis while also serving and important role in attribute information about the entities. This creates an extra dimension in the strategic and operational requirements of problem solving, as well as serves as a visual representation of environmental variables. Furthermore, this can be integrated to other functions in urban planning, conveyancing, and environmental management. At a personal level, I try to apply knowledge in experience to challenge all to think and act beyond their constraints to develop unique and effective solutions and to be aware of different types of techniques and technical tools to better the work process and service to the clients. I am proficient in applying project management to successfully create and execute programs, with the ability to effectively create cross-functional relationships to attain objectives and flourish within organizations. My objective to try to successfully grow with an organization and to challenge the different spheres of knowledge on both the GISc, land surveying and planning fields underlined by the opportunities that are offered for technical and computing support for effective and efficient working environment and service provision.
