About Adrian Agreda

I'm a physicist with a master in photonics and nanotechnology and a PhD in nano-optics and plasmonics, complemented by two postdoctoral research positions in photonics and metasurfaces. Now I'm working as a research engineer at the ELORPrintTec innovation platform, where I design, prototype, and test flexible displays, piezoelectric, pyroelectric, electrocaloric and thermoelectric printed devices. Specifically, my work is related to the development of fully printed systems for sensing (temperature, radiation, pressure), cooling, energy harvesting and display applications. I bring extensive experience in-Experimental design and optical characterization -Cleanroom micro/nanofabrication and characterization -Data analysis and visualization using Python and MATLAB -Scientific writing and communication -Printed electronics. Integration and testing of functional printed systems I like collaborative environments that bridge disciplines to drive innovation. Whether it's designing striking metasurfaces, developing next-gen cooling systems and flexible sensors or optimizing energy harvesting platforms, I’m passionate about translating research into real-world impact.
