About Adrian Bercovici

I’m a highly experienced professional in the field of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), with career highlights such as initiating the modernization of patent management at Deutsche Post DHL and developing a new approach for providing IPR services for the Products & Innovation department of the Deutsche Telekom. After over a decade in patent management in Germany, in 2015 I had the opportunity to diversify my professional knowhow, as I moved to Vietnam for two years. Among other projects in one of the fastest growing economies in South-East Asia, I consulted and developed an expansion strategy for a young, dynamic import/export company and co-founded a fast-food chain of restaurants, Valhalla Grill. Such experiences gave me a solid understanding of how businesses are run in south eas Asia and what is needed to make them successful. Parallel to managing a Valhalla Grill team of over 60 employees in 6 locations around Vietnam, I continued to deepen my knowledge in IPR as I completed a PhD on sustainable patent management with the Bucharest University of Economic Studies.
