Professional horticulturalist (BSc Hons - First) with a broad background within the horticultural industry. I currently work for Langley Waterproofing as their Environmental Solutions Products Manager. 17+ years within the living roof industry. Extensive experience specifying Green, Blue and BioSolar systems, estimating for major projects (intensive & podiums), technical support for above systems & specification manager. Able to offer design support & deliver CPD. As part of my current role, I collaborate with environmental roof solution manufacturers (for blue, green & biosolar systems), designers, architects, landscape architects, waterproofing partners and main contractors on the design & function of intensive (hard & soft), semi & extensive environmental systems. Prior to working for Langley, I was part of the small but dedicated team working for Blackdown Greenroofs,(Blackdown Horticultural Consultants) providing estimating & technical services associated with the specification and provision of extensive, semi-intensive & intensive green roof systems – this included all aspects of soft & hard landscaping. I have experience within environmental research & Health & Safety management. Prior to working within the green roof industry I worked within the horticultural and landscape industry for Local Authorities, private grounds maintenance contractors, the National Trust, commercial nurseries, private gardens, RHS show garden design & project management & horticultural retail.
