Communication: In my previous roles as a Production & Purchasing Manager working for a contract food manufacturing companies, I have been responsible for the co-ordination of the production and packaging departments in meeting the companies’ orders, I have also been responsible for dealing with & the ordering/purchasing from the suppliers of raw ingredients and associated packaging for the products produced. I have been responsible for coordinating all staff in the various areas of production & packing, it was also my role to liaise with our administration, QA & customer service departments to carry out these duties effectively. Flexibility is a key component of the role due too the nature of our production requirements & client base. Often there is a lot of information that I need to source from external contacts that I have made over many years, to ensure I have sufficient information to purchase the necessary materials at the budgeted figures/expenditure requirements, whilst maintaining a high level of Ingredients. Through the years I have managed to build a rapport with many companies & individuals offering the companies various options to achieve their designated goals and KPI's Teamwork: This a key component when working with any number of teams & individuals, communication is also a key to the success of team work therefore I like to hold scheduled meetings with both management, supervisors/Team leaders and other related staff to achieve the KPI’s and goals of the company always bearing in mind the satisfaction of our customers. Problem Solving and Analytical: As part of my daily duties I have to be analytical of many situations that may arise relating to staff, production & packaging requirements and issues, being flexible in my approach and communicating thru the right channels, most obstacles can be over come. The ability to think a problem thru is a key to achieving the companies & my own personal goals
