About Adrian Guardado

A good coach can change a game, a great coach can change a life."- John Wooden As a former athlete, I was blessed to have had many great coaches who positively impacted the trajectory of my life. Now I see it as my time to do the same with all the athletes that I work with. To me, the difference between a good coach and a great coach is one who develops their athletes not only physically but mentally as well. During the three years of my coaching internship, I learned vital lessons on how to enhance athletic performance through the attainment of short and long-term goals. Skills I've developed over time, such as effective communication between athlete and coach, proper teaching of various exercises, and periodization of workout programming, give me the backbones necessary to coach athletes toward athletic success. However, what sets me apart is my holistic approach toward coaching that ensures I give athletes both the physical and mental tools necessary to perform well at all ventures that await them throughout life.
