About Adrian Harrington

I have more than 30 years of experience in funds management, real estate, Government and the not for profit sectors. I am currently- a Senior Advisor to Lighthouse Infrastructure assisting them with their abradable housing investment strategy and execution. I am also a member of their Affordable Housing Investment Committee- a member of the University of Canberra's Development and Planning Committee overseeing the implementation of their new campus masterplan; and - a Non-Executive Director of Summer Housing, a specialist disability housing provider. I was appointed to the Board in September 2022 and took a leave of absence to take the role of interim CEO between February 2023 and August 2023. In September 2023, I returned to the Board as a Non-Executive Director- Chair of the Property Council of Australia's Innovation & Excellence Awards Judging Panel. I am the former Chair of both the Federal Government's National Housing Finance and Investment Corporation (NHFIC) and the Australian Housing and Urban Research Institute (AHURI). I was formerly Head of Wholesale Investor Relations & Fund Raising at Charter Hall, Head of Funds Management at Folkestone and CEO Funds Management, UK and USA for Mirvac Group. I also held senior positions at James Fielding Group, Deutsche Asset Management, Paladin Australia and the Property Council of Australia. I have a Bachelor of Science (1st class Hons) from the University of New South Wales, a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment from the Financial Services Institute of Australasia and a Graduate Diploma from the Australian Institute of Company Directors. I am passionate about working with future leaders. I am a judge of both PowerHousing's (community housing sector) and Property Council of Australia's Future Leader Awards and a mentor in the Property Council of Australia's Inclusive Leadership Mentoring Program.
