About Adrian Hooker

I am a highly driven, enthusiastic and self-motivated university graduate. I have a track record of being a hard worker, with a focus on teamwork and integrity. I have the ability to manage and develop individuals, as well as working well as part of group. My experience in aviation gives me professional and organisational skills that are sort after in many industries and I am also willing to explore new roles and new pathways as part of my career development. This includes the interpersonal skills required to deliver client focused service and to coordinate colleagues and third parties alike towards completing a goal. Administrative skills are a key part of my current role and I am able to efficiently use all elements of Microsoft Office as well as web portals to assist this. I am able to compose myself to work under pressure with a fast changing professional environment as this is commonplace within the aviation industry. I currently work as an Operations Coordinator at an award winning FBO at London Stansted airport, specialising in business aviation operations, aircraft handling and VIP customer service. I am also a self funded commercial pilot modular student, working towards a Air Transport Pilot’s Licence. I have been involved at numerous industry events campaigning for equal opportunity for aspiring pilots from low income backgrounds, including being a guest speaker at the European Aviation Symposium, where I presented the research on the topic, compiled for my B.Sc Air Transport with Commercial Pilot Training (First Class Honours). Previously, I have worked as a PPL and ATPL ground instructor to further develop my knowledge.
