Background
About Adrian Huber
The potential of Microsoft Installer (MSI) is something that Adrian Huber, then Lead Architect for Software Quality Insurance at Price Waterhouse Coopers (PCW), immediately recognized at the turn of the millenium. Later, in his role as Senior Consultant, Adrian advised major customers (e.g. Siemens and Alstom) on software deployment projects and guidelines. In 2004, Adrian took his expertise to his own company, the newly founded Cluebiz. Since 2008, his focus is on translating best practices into web-based solutions. He believes that software distribution should be web-based, simple and hassle free:"Today, you no longer need to set up a project, hire a consultant or do your own packaging if you want to deploy software". For the past six years, Adrian Huber has been working on Microsoft’s new MSIX package format, which he considers to be the future standard.
