About Adrian King

I lead KPMG's services to clients in the areas of Sustainability and ESG. I am also the leader of the Sustainability Services practice at KPMG in Australia. Having initially studied as a scientist, I then trained and practiced for many years as an accountant and financial risk manager where I learned all the financial aspects of business management. In 2009, I refocused my attention on sustainable business management because I believe that building a more sustainable global economy is critical to everyone’s future. I am passionate about the role of business in creating that future and in addressing big issues like climate change, human rights and our unsustainable and inefficient demand for new resources. I believe that KPMG can play its own important part in building this future by combining our accounting skills and understanding of business with our specialist expertise in environmental and social change. Our sustainability consultants help clients to understand and respond to these changes effectively and profitably. We help them reduce risks, find opportunities and ultimately to build more resilient and more sustainable businesses.
