About Adrian Manuel

As the Executive Director of Merrick Academy, I oversee the strategic vision and operations of a high-performing charter school that serves over 500 students in Queens, New York. With an EdD in Educational and Organizational Leadership from the University of Pennsylvania, I bring more than 20 years of experience in transforming K-12 education through innovative and inclusive practices. My core competencies include staff development, adult education, and systems thinking, which enable me to create interdependencies and learning ecosystems that foster accountability, organizational learning, and innovation. I am passionate about empowering the next generation of learners with the skills and mindsets they need to thrive in a rapidly changing world. My mission is to inspire, mentor, and drive systemic change that bridges the gap between today's learning and tomorrow's challenges.
