I began my journey in the landscape industry in the spring of 2007 as a Labourer on a maintenance crew. Over the years, I quickly mastered the trade's nuances, advancing to lead a crew of three within two years. My growing responsibilities led me to roles as an Irrigation Technician and Dispatch Operator, eventually managing the Irrigation Department. In this role, I handled irrigation maintenance and sales, scheduled crews for winter operations, and contributed to accounts payable and receivable. In 2019, I transitioned to Residential Landscape Construction, bringing my extensive skills to new roles. As a Heavy Machinery Operator and trainer, I ensured safe operation practices and managed logistics for moving equipment and materials. Shortly thereafter, I advanced to Landscape Construction Foreman, collaborating with skilled Project Managers to create beautiful landscapes. In 2021, I was promoted to Operations Manager. Leveraging my field experience and deep understanding of staff and client needs, I focused on enhancing efficiency and productivity across teams. My proactive approach and critical thinking have driven timely problem-solving and continuous improvement. With over 18 years of experience, I have honed exceptional organizational and leadership skills. I manage and schedule field work, organize staff training, source company purchases, and develop and implement new policies and procedures. I am passionate about leadership, communication, and leading by example. For me, growth is limitless when you love what you do, work becomes more than just a job.
