About Adrian Moore

I’ve always been passionate about the benefits, impact, and value of Volunteering on personal wellbeing, community engagement and social connectiveness. This led me to work as a Volunteer Force Development Officer at South Derbyshire CVS, a charity that provides a range of services and support to voluntary and community organisations in the area. My role involves recruiting, training, and mentoring volunteers, as well as delivering courses and workshops, team leading, information, advice and guidance, and equality and diversity. I have more than six years of experience in the further education sector, where I led and managed the learner services and customer experience team at Burton and South Derbyshire College. I was also the deputy safeguarding officer, responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of learners and staff. I have a strong background in IT, having completed several qualifications and certifications in this field, as well as teaching and facilitating IT courses. I am passionate about lifelong learning and empowering others to achieve their personal and professional goals.
