About Adrian Schmidt

After providing IT support services for approx. four years as IT technician, I shifted my career to audit and advisory: I worked five years as consultant, being involved in several Information Systems risk assessments, audit assignments. In 2009 I worked one year as IT Auditor while performing audit projects for corporation's companies from all over Europe being based in Paris, gaining valuable international experience. The return to Bucharest meant also a shift to IT management: I worked as IT Director for a group of companies (pharmaceuticals distribution and pharmacy chain). In 2011 I joined Pfizer Romania as Business Technology Country Lead; in 2016 I changed roles to BT Regional Business Partner for Pfizer's European Essential Health Business; in June 2017 I changed roles to BT Business Analyst Lead, managing the Business Analysts team and owning the European Commercial BT portfolio. Since April 2022 I assumed the role of Digital Business Services Manager (BSM) Team Lead, responsible for the management and flawless execution of the BSM team, located in multiple countries, globally; the BSM team is responsible for partnering directly with business stakeholders and Digital Client partners to drive adoption and utilization of global technology solutions and services.
