About Adrian Scott

I am an Export and Technical Sales Consultant and Managing Director, owning both an export supplies and consultancy business. I have 25 years experience working globally with international drilling companies and within difficult and hard to reach markets. Combined with this, I have in-depth knowledge within the drilling industry across the water well, geotechnical and mineral exploration drilling industries, along with land based oil and gas rigs. I am highly experienced in selling equipment throughout Africa and the Middle East, along with Central Asia, the Indian Sub Continent, the Far East, Latin America and Europe. Through my company, ASEC Export Supplies Ltd, drilling rigs and equipment is sold through direct negotiation with the customer, through my dedicated team of sales agents on the ground, or through international tenders. Through my consultancy business, ASEC Export Consulting Ltd, I work closely with a range of UK and overseas clients and businesses wanting to enter or expand into international markets. I help them to produce a range of documentation including: Letters of Credit, preparation of documents, cash against documents, UK export financing and export permits. I mentor and help clients and businesses on all aspects of international sales and trade, including advising on various processes and dealing with varying rules and regulations within international Government Departments. I also regularly travel overseas to help clients establish a contact base and introduction into their preferred markets.
