About Adrian Sims

Adrian Sims is an independent 3D visual artist currently based in the Pacific Northwest. His career combines over 21 years of creative experience – delivering effective and creative solutions for a broad spectrum of clients. Adrian was first introduced to the world of digital design while serving in the Navy on board the USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN-72). Following his remarkable efforts developing high-level presentations and design work for senior military officials and colleagues, he earned the Navy Achievement medal for design. Shortly after the military, he expanded his services to a diverse clientele, serving a wide range of businesses and industries, both in the government and private sectors. Working with the public helped define his extensive portfolio and solidified his highly sought-after reputation. He continues to enhance the creative needs of businesses; from non-profit organizations, Fortune 500 companies, to those of NBA talent and industry musicians. His latest expertise consists of progressive graphic design, photography and 3D motion, using the industry’s latest software and tools. As the current lead Graphic Design Specialist for the City of Tacoma, Adrian offers talent that supersedes the needs of corporate industries. In 2016 Adrian founded and developed Create & Blend; an innovative graphic design company dedicated to providing creative opportunities for all walks of life. During the height of the pandemic, he felt compelled to expand his role by studying new techniques, and becoming a mentor to aspiring creatives. With there being a lack of diverse talent in the creative tech space, his passion is to develop a culture of community artists, with the goal of leading them to their greatest potential in digital design and tech.
