35 years' experience, crossing multiple industries, holding executive and board level positions. What I am most known for: growing sales, strategy, M&A, successful negotiations, compelling presentations, empowering and motivating functional teams, technical depth, and getting to the bottom of problems and fixing them. I have been described as a "translator"- having the rare ability to talk as easily with the engineering team as the sales team, communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiences and vice versa. Most rewarding is the feedback I get from customers and from my team, who feel empowered and rewarded in their careers. Industry experience includes asset tracking, wireless operators, major smartphone manufacturers, major semiconductor companies, major software companies, mining/forestry/oil & gas, broadcasting, warehousing and logistics, automotive & transportation, marine, mobile advertising, music, and government. Technology experience includes satellite (including GPS/GNSS), cellular, RF from 400 kHz to 14GHz, Bluetooth, WPS, smart devices, semiconductors, data compression, various middleware, and SaaS/cloud based services. International experience includes more than 25 countries covering the Americas, Australia & SE Asia, Europe, Middle East, Africa, China and Japan. I hold Canadian and UK passports.
