About Adrian Vasiliu

My first creative project that had a brief and a deadline was drawing a bear for the art class in second grade elementary school. My bear got an ”F” for looking more like an abstract, slightly depressed goat. Despite this early drawback, 13 years later I got a bachelor’s degree in design. If that’s not a success story, I don’t know what a success story is. I believe storytelling is the key to helping marketing customers achieve their objectives and I’ve been involved in visual storytelling for the past 10 years, working in a communication agency and as an in-house corporate graphic designer. From the creation of multi-layered, narrative-led visuals that span traditional media, digital advertising and immersive brand experiences, to the simplicity of communicating through a PowerPoint slide, I take pride in always having a strong underlying grasp of the objectives the design piece must achieve. Problem solving and a strong understanding of brand development and multi-channel/touch-point marketing are also on the list of tools I use in my everyday work. Core focus of interests currently include: graphic design; branding; strategy; marketing; advertising. Bear in mind that I also have a decent sense of humor.
