About Adrian Vasquez

I am a full-time student at the California State University of Fullerton. I am enrolled in a Master of Science in Information System Program. I graduate this May 2022 with a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Business Analytics. My goal is to become a Data Scientist and to learn and grow as much as possible. My graduate program is currently teaching me: Information Sytems Project Management, Networking, SQL Server, PostGresSQL, Enterprise Level Data Base Management, R, Python, Data Warehousing, ETL, and Machine learning/Data Mining. I currently hold several part-time positions at CSUF. I am a graduate teacher's Assistant for 3 Business analytics classes. I am also an ISDS361A and ISDS361B Business Analytics Tutor at CSUF CBE tutoring center. I am also a Statistics Supplemental Instructor where I teach 2 classes of 20+ students the following statistical concepts: Multiple Regression, simulation/optimization, ARMA Forecasting, Descriptive Statistics, and Data Visualization. Lastly, I am the president and founder of the DSML Club (Data Science and Machine Learning club). I have built the club from 1 to 120 members. I recruited and lead all board members to build the club to over 120 active members. The club puts on various python, R, and spreadsheet workshops. We curate various classification, prediction, SQL, and deep learning projects so our members can have an opportunity to build up their analytic/backend portfolios, and learn more about business intelligence. Our club's Mission is to create a culture that fosters learning and growth within the realm of Data Science, machine learning, and Business Intelligence. To help our members reach their professional goals while creating lasting connections.
