About Adrian Yoder

Life contains many opportunities to: work towards goals, grow from loss, experience failure, remain steadfast, learn new things, and have fun through the process. Throughout my short walk, I have experienced many great things and have made many interesting friends, and traveled in order to learn about people on planet earth. My first career started at an automotive retail store where I solidified my Spanish, learned to sell, gained understanding about immigrants in the US and helped many who could not speak English. Ultimately, I'm a net-worker I love working with people from all walks of life. Which can be seen in my attempts to connect with ESL customers by translating the catalog of common auto-parts to Spanish using local dialects. During my 4 years at Four Star Rental LLC, I received Honda Small Engine mechanic certification and an A.R.A. driver certification. Learn the basics in operating automatic forklifts, and worked on many mechanical projects like hydraulic stump grinders. Additionally, I took a 6 month hiatus from the labor-force to pursue my education and volunteer positions at Sugar grove Church. While volunteering, I was able to make amazing lessons for the preteen Sunday school classes and teach deeper theological literature with Sugar Grove's middle-school youth group. To supplement funds during my hiatus, I joined a local water purification company as a deliveryman where I received my For Hire Operator's License. While volunteering for the church I had many opportunities to assist my fellow man through acts of service. During the winter of 2021 a terrible tornado ripped through Kentucky; I was able to use my knowledge from 4 Star Rental to help clear brush from the road and property. Afterwards, I moved to Fort Wayne, IN to pursue a career in engineering through a paid internship at Vera Bradley, where I was looking for appropriate housing for 3-weeks before finding a location close to VB. Unfortunately, the internship at VB did not turn into a permanent position so I took another posting as mechanical engineer intern at Barton-Coe-Vilamaa. After working over 2 years at Master Spas as a hybrid manufacturing engineer, I believe myself ready for the next horizon. I've tested the waters in engineering and now looking for something new to learn and challenge my understanding of the world.
