About Adriana Comparetto

Versatile designer with a master's degree in Social Design from the prestigious Design Academy Eindhoven, I bring more than 8 years of experience in creating innovative solutions in various design disciplines; especially in furniture, lighting, product and service design. My passion is to transcend passing trends, with a commitment to create timeless, sustainable and socially charged products. In my freelance practice, I've honed my skills working within tight deadlines and varying budgets, offering comprehensive design services encompassing branding, prints, web, on-demand furniture, interior design, 3D modeling, and product creation in diverse materials such as wood and ceramics. My client-centric approach has fostered enduring relationships and successful collaborations. As a Social Designer at Ex Nunc Project, a collaborative initiative with the town hall of Lleida, I spearheaded the development, design, and construction of a monument in collaboration with 60 migrants and refugees. This project, rooted in Catalan traditional tiling methodologies, not only achieved local and national media coverage but also contributed to the participants' approval for citizenship, aligning with the project's overarching goal of social contribution. My tenure at Estudi Arola, an international award-winning atelier, allowed me to actively contribute to the design and development of lighting and furniture products. From conceptualization to launch, I played a pivotal role in the entire product development lifecycle. Armed with a Bachelor's in Industrial and Product Design and complemented by specialized courses and workshops, including a notable workshop on 'Symbiosis' by Benjamin Hubert, I've continually expanded my skill set. My journey includes a deep dive into ceramics at Escola d’Art Municipal Leandre Cristòfol. With a proven track record in Concept Development, Product Design, and Design Thinking, I am now seeking opportunities to channel my passion for socially conscious design into impactful projects.
