About Adriana Mar

As a researcher at UNINOVA and a PhD student in energy communities at FCT NOVA, I have been working on developing and applying innovative methods and tools for modeling, analyzing, and optimizing distributed energy systems. With more than eight years of combined experience in teaching, research, and engineering, I have acquired multiple skills in sustainable energy, computer-aided design. My core competencies include problem-solving, critical thinking, communication, and collaboration. My mission is to contribute to the advancement of knowledge and practice in the field of energy communities, and to support the transition to a more sustainable and resilient energy system. I value learning, creativity, diversity, and social responsibility, and I seek to work with teams and organizations that share these values and goals.
