I am an experienced Environmental, Health, and Safety Leader with over 9 years of expertise in general industry. Currently, I hold a leadership position in Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) with a focus on Global Equipment and Risk Projects in the field of Reliability, Maintenance, and Engineering (RME). My role involves overseeing and driving risk reduction initiatives related to High Risk Operations by ensuring the safety and well-being of approximately 30k+ Amazon RME Technicians across various geographical locations. Providing direct safety support to $11B+ business organization. Prior to my current role, I had the privilege of leading the Amazon Global Launch & North America “Amazon Air” WHS RME teams while supporting RME leadership operations and their respective business units. I successfully implemented safety programs and protocols to mitigate risks. I also have extensive experience with collaborating and supporting sub-departmental organizations in general industry such as but not limited to Operations, Finance, Procurement, Start up, Design and Construction, Safety Engineering, World Wide Design and Engineering (WWDE), Learning and Development. During my professional career, I have also excelled in EHS Program Management, EHS Process Engineering, Network Occupational Health and Safety, and Audit Control. From 2018 to 2021, I played a key role in the successful launch and roll out of Amazon’s Global WHS RME organization and the creation of Amazon's annual RME Technician Safety Week in 2018, which improved the overall safety culture for more than 22k Amazon RME technicians. In addition to my expertise in the EHS/WHS field, I have spent 5 years in the healthcare industry, providing patient support and contributing to the operations of several Florida healthcare organizations. My knowledge in areas such as Phlebotomy, Laboratory Testing, and Medical Laboratory Processing has further enriched my understanding of safety protocols and compliance. I am passionate about creating safe and healthy work environments, driving compliance with regulations, and implementing effective risk management strategies.
