With a profound dedication that began with my first classroom of 3rd graders in Brooklyn, NY, I am committed to advancing equity in our education system. As the Assistant Director of Enrollment at City Teaching Alliance, I'm excited to continue my journey in serving the future of our society—our children.My unwavering belief is simple yet powerful: every child, regardless of their background or circumstances, deserves a world-class education. It's this belief that drives me to work tirelessly in historically underserved communities, striving to improve educational outcomes and break down the barriers that have held too many back.My roots in education run deep, shaped by a family of educators, I am especially grateful to the Black educators who have mentored and inspired me throughout my life. In my current role, I am privileged to pay that support forward by welcoming and nurturing the next generation of career educators. These are individuals who share my fierce commitment to dismantling systems of racial and socioeconomic inequity while propelling student achievement to new heights. They are dedicated educators who recognize the impact we can make when we are effective, accountable, and fully attuned to the unique needs of students and their communities.Together, we will continue to champion the cause of equity, access, and excellence in education.
