I’m the Repair Project Lead/High-Risk Repairs within one of the G15 housing association's, currently leading a specialist team responsible for managing complex, sensitive, and high-profile repair cases.I provide operational leadership and technical oversight across a multidisciplinary team of Building Surveyors, Repairs Inspectors, and Repairs Planners, ensuring complex and high-value repairs are delivered safely, compliantly, and to a high standard. My work focuses on reducing the risk of disrepair, complaints, legal exposure, and reputational impact, while keeping resident safety and trust at the centre of decision-making.Alongside high-risk and escalated cases, I lead repair projects aimed at preventative and long-term solutions such as addressing root causes, reducing repeat failures, and improving the resilience of housing stock. I use data analysis, case reviews, and process improvement to drive consistency, strengthen performance, and improve outcomes for residents.I regularly engage with across the leadership teams, legal teams, contractors, and residents, managing complex stakeholder relationships and ensuring clear, transparent communication, particularly where cases are high-risk or emotionally charged. I am currently undertaking this role on an interim basis.Previously, I spent eight years as an Out of Hours Manager, acting as the senior operational lead during office closures and responding to critical, life-and-death situations. This experience has shaped a calm, decisive leadership style and a strong understanding of risk management, emergency response, and accountability within social housing
