About Adrin Alias

As a junior mechanical engineer at The University of Texas at Arlington, I am pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, with an expected graduation date of 2025. I have also earned the SolidWorks Mechanical Design Associate certification, demonstrating my proficiency in 3D design and problem solving.I have a strong track record of success in manufacturing engineering and project management, as evidenced by my internship experience at Rivian, a leading electric vehicle company. There, I worked with cross-functional teams to implement DFMA principles, develop innovative solutions to complex problems, and improve the efficiency and quality of the general assembly process. I contributed to several projects, such as designing and testing a new battery module fixture, optimizing the layout and routing of wiring harnesses, and reducing the cycle time and scrap rate of the chassis assembly. I also learned valuable skills in CATIA, Lean Manufacturing, and Root Cause Analysis. Through this internship, I developed a passion for sustainable and cutting-edge engineering, and a goal to pursue a career in the electric vehicle industry.
