Masters graduate in genetics and genomics and a prior MSc. in Life Sciences (major: Biotechnology), with in-depth training in precision medicine, genetics, molecular biology, wet lab techniques and genetic counseling- Experience in laboratory techniques including: Bacterial and mammalian cell culture, RT-PCR, cloning, DNA extraction, purification, enzyme assays, high throughput screening techniques, NGS, library preparation, and protocol optimization- Strengths include strong communication skills, client communication, demonstrating field applications, handling of PHI, genetic testing/ gene variant analysis and enforcement of HIPAA regulations, experience with various multidisciplinary teams in a clinical and pharmaceutical setting- Adept at problem-solving, critical thinking and comprehension of concepts- Motivated to apply specialized skills and experiences to a career in research and healthcare.
