I have been a consultant urogynaecologist at South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust since August 2008. I am the lead in Neuromodulation which is a tertiary level service which I established at South Tees NHS Trust. I am certified to do both conventional and video-urodynamics by the UK Continence Society. I am also certified in advanced hysteroscopic surgery and in colposcopy, but due to demands on the urogynaecology service I had to drop my commitment to the latter two services. I have an interest in research. I have worked with the local CRN for 8 years and have been the Specialty Group Lead for NENC CRN for the lsince 2017. Nationally, I have served on the Research Committee of the British Society of Urogynaecologists (BSUG) and internationally I am a member of the Public relations committee of IUGA. I have presented my work in national conferences and published it in scientific peer reviewed journals
