Over the course of an illustrious 25-year career in the real estate industry, I have not only witnessed its evolution but actively contributed to its growth and success. My journey began with the establishment of two thriving independent Escrow companies, a testament to my ability to navigate the complexities of this sector. However, as the real estate landscape underwent significant transformations in the aftermath of the market crash, I recognized the need for a strategic shift. This pivotal moment led me to embrace a new direction within Title Insurance companies. With unwavering determination and adaptability, I swiftly ascended the ranks, assuming roles in management and training. In 2018, I embarked on a remarkable chapter of my career by assuming responsibility for the Real Estate School at Old Republic Title (ORT). Over the subsequent four years, my leadership was marked by a series of remarkable achievements. I revolutionized the Real Estate School by ushering it into the digital era, encompassing everything from marketing and organization to registration. In the face of the challenging circumstances posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, I spearheaded the complete digitization of our curriculum, resulting in a remarkable 22% increase in client attendance rates. In my capacity as a certified real estate instructor, I not only empowered my sales team to focus on their core responsibilities but also earned a reputation as an educator par excellence. The testimonials and accolades from brokers affirm that many chose to attend classes solely when I assumed the role of instructor. Recognizing the importance of nurturing talent within the organization, I took it upon myself to design comprehensive internal training programs for escrow assistants and new closers at ORT. By making it mandatory for both new and seasoned escrow assistants to undergo this training, I aimed to instill consistency in processes and provide invaluable support to aspiring assistants. Moreover, I facilitated the smooth transition of new closers arriving from out of state by ensuring their proficiency in Washington closing rules and regulations.
