About Afonso Lopes

I am passionate about Digital Transformation willing to help organizations undertake the inevitable process of transformation and the use of what technology and digital put at their disposal today, from the collection and analysis of information in real time, to Big Data and Artificial Intelligence models to help the management of companies. Technology and digital have always been part of my duties throughout my career, helping to promote the application of new technologies and adoption of digital in the organizations where I had responsibilities. I believe I can help many organizations overcome the knowledge deficit that prevents them from advancing on this path and go beyond digital, betting on Digital Transformation with the development of new products, services, and business models, to promote a better Customer experience. There is much to be done in this area, given the relative backwardness of our businesses. On the other hand, the 6 years dedicated to airports, trying to build a capable response to the tender for the New Lisbon Airport initially planned in 2007, give me a great experience and knowledge in the matter, by my own study and by involvement in the technical studies and models developed made in the preparation of the team. It would be a happy return to a business area that left me grateful memories. Complementary to all this professional experience and essential for it to run well, I am a practicing sportsman, currently golf by devotion and marathoner by challenge. Two very different disciplines that enhance my resilience, self-discipline, and humility, but essential, such as walking and reading to my peace of mind. afonsolop@gmail.com
