I am a transactional / corporate lawyer, with over six years of experience as follows: Experienced in handling end-to-end processes for obtaining approvals for foreign direct investments from various Ministries under the Government of India, for several clients. Instrumental in assisting the team in successfully incorporating, obtaining relevant registrations and making regular submissions to Governmental Authorities, in respect of a Section 8 Company. Instrumental in drafting and submitting all relevant documents before Hon’ble National Company Law Tribunal, for consolidation of equity shares under Section 61 of the Companies Act, 2013. Instrumental in assisting start-ups for multiple ‘Series-X’ funding transactions, including structuring the M&A transactions, negotiating the deal with the investors, drafting, reviewing and finalizing all transaction documentation. Managed and handled all applications and submissions delisting of the equity shares of a public company to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) Limited. Independently structuring and drafting a variety of domestic and transnational commercial contracts and documents. Conducting corporate, human resources and approvals due diligence reviews of companies engaged in various sectors including service sector, software industry, food industry, e-commerce, logistics, biotechnology and pharmaceuticals. Drafting and delivering legal opinions pertaining to GDPR, SEBI compliance related issues, various employment and other commercial matters for FDI, FSSAI, FEMA, ECB and related laws. Appeared before the Hon’ble High Court of Judicature at Madras, Hon’ble National Company Law Tribunals, Chennai and Bengaluru, City Civil Courts, Labour Courts, CCB Court, Tamil Nadu Electricity and Regulatory Commission, Micro & Small Enterprises Facilitation Council.
