About Afreen Inam
As Chemistry major I have had a great deal of science-based lab experience, and a very good understanding of the concepts and processes associated with the phenomena. My Ph.D thesis was based on Synthesis, characterization and biological evaluation of heterocyclic compounds. I have synthesised around hundred novel heterocyclic compounds and characterized them by state-of-art spectroscopic techniques such as NMR, FTIR, and GC-MS. I have published five papers and four communicated in international journals of high repute. I have also filed three Indian patents. Teaching is not only my ambition but it’s my passion. To be able to pursue my career in teaching I have qualified National level examination (CSIR-NET) for lectureship in 2010.
