10+ years of experience in Research and Development in health science industry resulting in development, validation, testing and transfer of analytical methods for anticancer and antifibrotic drug products. • Innovation-driven, result-oriented and seasoned research scientist with extensive research and technical experience in core areas of cell biology, protein biochemistry, molecular biology, mouse genetics, drug testing and drug development. • Spearheading the project focused on understanding the role of novel transcription factors in the development of open/closed angle glaucoma in animal model and studying its correlation with glaucoma in humans • Working in close collaboration with Health care professionals (HCPs)/pathologists to decipher human significance for the novel eyelid tumor mouse model that resembles human sebaceous gland carcinoma of the eyelid. • Orchestrated technical guidance using Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to train graduate students, postdoctoral researchers and scientists in various aspects of drug delivery and testing methodologies leading to publications in peer-reviewed journals. • Published manuscripts in peer-reviewed international journal (>10) and presented papers (oral/poster) in >20 national and international conferences and discussed advanced level scientific information and data with other scientists and physicians (key opinion leaders or KOLs) from around the world. • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills that led to a number of scientific collaborations for developing novel strategies for target discovery and drug development.
