I’m a community-driven professional who believes that access, relationships, and showing up consistently can change lives.I currently serve as the Community Development & Marketing Specialist at Peoples Advantage Federal Credit Union, where I help bridge the gap between financial services and the communities we serve. My work focuses on building authentic partnerships, supporting local initiatives, and creating opportunities that empower individuals, families, and small businesses—especially those who may feel overlooked or underserved by traditional institutions.My journey with Peoples Advantage began on the front line as a Member Services Agent (Teller) and later as an Electronic Services Specialist. Through these roles, I gained a strong foundation in member service, operations, and digital banking, while consistently gravitating toward outreach, education, and creative problem-solving. As I became more involved in community events, partnerships, and cross-department collaboration, it became clear that my passion and strengths aligned with community engagement and storytelling.That natural progression led to my transition into the Community Development & Marketing Specialist role—where I’m able to combine relationship-building, creativity, and strategic thinking to support both our members and the broader community. I enjoy translating financial concepts into accessible conversations, organizing impactful events, and collaborating internally to ensure our outreach reflects the real needs of the people we serve.Beyond my role at the credit union, I am actively involved in community leadership and service. I serve as Vice Chair of the Two Twelve Referral Network – Petersburg Connectors, a Private-Sector Director (Board Member) with CAPUP, a Board Member with the Hopewell/Prince George Chamber of Commerce, and I am a proud member of the Community Involvement Committee with the Greater Richmond Chapter of Credit Unions, where I collaborate with peers across the credit union movement to strengthen collective community impact.I’m also a proud Richard Bland College alumna and a passionate animal advocate. Giving a voice to animals in need—whether through marketing, social media, or community partnerships—is something close to my heart, and I love helping them find their fur-ever homes.At the core of everything I do is a simple belief: when people feel seen, supported, and equipped with the right resources, incredible things can happen.
