About Agata Meysner

I am a climate justice activist, new economy strategist, and global speaker from Poland. I have advised leading international organisations, such as the OECD and the European Commission. I am currently a Fellow at the University of Oxford, recognised for my work on international climate advocacy and coalition-building.I co-founded and lead Generation Climate Europe, the largest coalition of youth-led networks on climate and environmental justice issues in Europe. Under my leadership, we have grown our membership to 380+ member organisations across 46 countries, and our work has been recognised with the Charlemagne Youth Prize and the European Citizen's Prize. We are supporting youth organisations and informal groups with up to 100k in funding and organisational support to build an inclusive and welcoming climate movement, bridging those working on climate and other issues, especially democracy and social justice. I bring over a decade of experience in youth representation and start-up development in the non-profit climate sector. For the past six years, I’ve worked at the intersection of EU environmental and social justice policy, focusing on circular economy, wellbeing economy, intergenerational justice, and planetary boundaries. I specialise in building impactful coalitions and strategies that drive systemic change.I regularly speak at leading conferences on EU policy and social impact across Europe. I’ve shared stages with global leaders including Al Gore, Frans Timmermans, and Tim Jackson. If you're looking for a speaker, consultant or just a bouncing board for ideas - let’s collaborate!
