About Agathi Yap

It is understated how important people are in the use of highly specialized technology. I am fortunate to have developed a rare combination of skills that allow me to thrive in both understanding and optimizing technology, as well as building and introducing systems that allow anyone (even the less technically inclined), to thrive in the use of those systems. This unique skillset has led me to a very interesting and rewarding career in Hotel Information System Management. I have spent the past 18 years with Four Seasons in progressive IT leadership roles, mastering the Opera Hotel Property Management System (PMS) software, leading IT rollouts to onboard new hotel locations, project managing software updates, and most importantly, training staff on use of the software in all its complex functions. Creating training documents and facilitating one-on-one and group training is my absolute favourite part of the role, and I work diligently to get better at that each and every day.
